Hunting season – September to October
Hunt duration – 4 days / 3 nights / 2 hunting days
The hunt takes place from Thursday to Sunday, with arrival to the hunting area planned for Thursday.
Friday and Saturday are planned hunting days
On Sunday, hunting is possible until noon if needed, followed by transfer back to Slovakia.
Transport – self-arranged / organized
Transport to the hunting area is arranged individually; upon request, shared transport can be organized together with Slovak guides.
Hunting method – stalking
Alpine hunting takes place in mountainous terrain, primarily through stalking, or alternatively from a stand, with early morning ascents to higher elevations depending on current conditions. It is a physically demanding hunt that requires good fitness, the ability to move confidently in mountainous terrain, and proficiency in shooting at longer distances. The hunt typically lasts throughout the day, with a high success rate that depends mainly on the hunter’s physical preparedness, trophy expectations, and hunting luck.
Complete arrangement of permits and trophy handling
You can take your trophy with you immediately after the hunt. We will arrange all necessary formalities related to the transport of the trophy, as well as the permits required for the hunt.
